Frequently asked questions

What is a trading journal and how do you keep one?
A trading journal is a record of every trade: entry, exit, size, fees, and the context behind the decision — why you entered, how you felt, whether you followed your plan. You keep one by reviewing it regularly to find the patterns that repeat. You can do it in a spreadsheet; EdgeMirror automates the logging with broker sync and calculates the metrics for you.
Is EdgeMirror actually free?
Yes. The Free plan is permanent and asks for no card: up to 25 trades, the essential dashboard, and access to one clan. It's not an expiring trial — stay on Free as long as you want and upgrade only if you need to.
Which brokers can I connect?
Schwab, Interactive Brokers (IBKR), and E*TRADE with direct integrations, plus many more brokers through SnapTrade. Automatic sync is available on the Pro and Elite plans, and access is read-only: EdgeMirror can't trade your account.
What if my broker isn't listed?
You can log trades manually on any plan, import a CSV from any broker (Starter and up), or upload a screenshot of your trades and let the platform extract the data (Pro and Elite).
Is it available in Spanish?
Yes. The whole platform — dashboard, journal, emails, notifications, and the Eddy assistant — works in Spanish and English. Change your language in Settings and everything, including emails, follows your preference.
What does Eddy, the AI assistant, do?
Eddy answers your questions about the platform and, if you turn on account context, about your own trading: win rate by day, recent patterns, your active plan. It uses your real trades, not generic templates, and replies in your language. It doesn't give signals or buy/sell recommendations.
Does EdgeMirror give signals or predict the market?
No. We're not a broker, we don't give signals, and we don't predict prices. EdgeMirror analyzes your execution — your timing, your discipline, your patterns — so you make better decisions with your own judgment.
Is my trading data safe?
Broker connections are read-only: EdgeMirror can't place orders or move funds. Access tokens are stored encrypted, and we don't sell or share your trading data with advertisers or commercial third parties.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings > Billing — no contracts, no penalties. You keep access until the end of the paid period, and your account moves to the Free plan without losing your data.
