Privacy Policy
This policy describes what information we process, why we use it, which providers it may be shared with, and how we keep the scope of financial connections clear.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how EdgeMirror AI collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit our site, create an account, use the dashboard, log trades, connect integrations, upload screenshots, purchase plans, or interact with AI features.
If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use the Service or connect third-party integrations.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, protected password, preferences, plan, subscription status, and authentication data.
- Trading and journal data: symbols, instrument type, entries, exits, quantities, prices, fees, P&L, tags, emotions, notes, rules, screenshots, and files you upload.
- Integration data: connected account identifiers, authorization tokens, granted permissions, connection statuses, balances, positions, trades, historical orders, transactions, metadata, and other data you authorize the provider to share.
- Payment data: information necessary for billing and subscription. Full card data is processed by the payment provider, not by EdgeMirror AI.
- Technical data: IP, browser, device, operating system, logs, security events, pages visited, access times, and feature usage.
- Communications: support messages, transactional emails, survey responses, or information you voluntarily send us.
3. Financial integrations: read, not execute
When you connect a financial integration, EdgeMirror AI receives data in accordance with the permission you grant to the third-party provider and the available technical scope. We use that information to synchronize your journal, reconstruct trades, calculate metrics, display analytics, and improve your performance review.
- We only read, query, import, and synchronize information from the connected provider.
- We do not send orders or trading instructions to the broker.
- We do not buy, sell, open, close, modify, or cancel positions.
- We do not transfer funds, move assets, or change settings within your brokerage account.
- You may revoke access from EdgeMirror AI when available and also from the third-party provider's settings.
If an integration displays order or transaction data, that read exists for historical analysis and journaling. It does not imply the ability or authorization to execute new orders.
4. How we use the information
- Create, authenticate, maintain, and protect your account.
- Provide the journal, dashboard, metrics, reports, synchronization, screenshots, and AI features.
- Calculate analytics, detect patterns, generate insights, and display history.
- Process subscriptions, billing, support, and transactional communications.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, technical errors, and security violations.
- Debug, measure performance, improve the product, and develop new features.
- Comply with applicable legal, contractual, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information or your trading history. We share information only when necessary to provide the Service, comply with the law, protect rights, or with your consent.
- Cloud infrastructure, database, storage, and CDN.
- Payment and billing processors.
- Transactional email and support providers.
- AI providers used to generate analysis when you enable or use those features.
- Monitoring, security, technical analytics, and abuse prevention tools.
- Authorities, courts, or third parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, users, or systems.
6. AI and content processing
When you use AI features, we may process notes, trades, metrics, screenshots, and associated context to generate responses, analysis, or reports. We aim to limit processing to what is necessary for the requested function.
You should not upload sensitive information that is not necessary for use of the Service. AI outputs may contain errors and must be reviewed by you.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active, while it is necessary to provide the Service, or while we must retain it for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution reasons.
You can request deletion of your account from Settings > Profile, on the web or in the app, and confirm it with a code we send to your email. If you can't sign in, write to us from your account's email address at [email protected].
We complete deletion within a maximum of 30 days from the moment you confirm the request, and you can cancel it while it is still pending. We delete your account, your trading data, your broker connections, and your clan content from our active systems.
After your account is deleted we retain: invoices, payment records, and affiliate commissions for 6 months (if another affiliate referred you, once that period ends they keep the record of their commission, but with no data that identifies you); security logs and the record of your request for 12 months; and encrypted database backups, where your data may remain for up to 3 months as they rotate. Our payment processor retains its own records under its own obligations.
8. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege practices, monitoring, environment segregation, and reasonable security reviews.
No system is 100% secure. You must protect your credentials, devices, and authentication methods, and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.
9. Your rights and controls
- Access, correct, or delete certain account data.
- Request deletion of your account from Settings > Profile. We explain the process at edgemirror.io/delete-account.
- Disconnect third-party integrations where controls are available.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
- Manage cookies from your browser.
- Request additional information about how we process your data by writing to [email protected].
10. International transfers
We may process information in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. Where applicable, we use contractual, technical, or organizational measures to protect transferred information.
11. Minors
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us so we can review the matter.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. We will publish the effective date on this page.
